ALL ABOARD!!! IT IS THE EVIL DAY! GET ON THE ARK OF SALVATION…BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE! Friends, it is time! Do you see it? The ark is coming just over the horizon! It’s the ark of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is built on repentance, blood, sweat and tears! Through great labor and pain, it has been built. And, it is coming! But you must have your oil in your lamps and be ready, watching and waiting! Don’t miss the ark!
Remain hopeful and prayerful and endure dear ones! Do not give up nor lose hope! If you’re wondering why you’re feeling a dark heavy feeling, why are you feeling alone, why are you afflicted, why are you suffering with this and with that? Why do you feel so rejected and lost? Why do things seem so strange? Has God left you? Is He angry with you? Is He just plain ignoring you?Or maybe you’re thinking, “I thought Christians don’t suffer unless they’re in trouble with God?” Or, “Why do God’s people seem to suffer so much?”
I encourage you to always do a Holy Spirit heart check. If there be any unrepentant sin…repent! However….If you haven’t noticed, we are in THAT EVIL DAY! FEAR NOT and DO NOT LOSE HEART! Be as bold as a lion in the midst of your affliction! Stand firm in this day of evil! Do not believe for a second God has forsaken you or is ignoring you!
Do not flee from the devil, but make the devil flee from you by standing on God’s promises, firmly grounded in Truth and righteousness with the power that comes only from the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ! Call on the Lord in the day of trouble and He will be faithful and just to deliver you! But I warn you…DO NOT PUT GOD ON YOUR TIME CLOCK!
“The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, But the righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1
“Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.” Ephesians 6:13
Know that the righteous will suffer and we are called to suffer as Christ Jesus suffered for us! Give Him glory and praise in your affliction as God refines you into gold!
“For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God. For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN H IS MOUTH; and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.” 1 Peter 2:20-25
And don’t lose heart or hope…but be vigilant and strong! For your enemy, the devil, as a roaring lion walks about seeking whom he may devour! Only you can allow him to devour you by remaining ignorant of God’s word and by not spending time in prayer and worship! And, by not having faith regardless of your circumstances!
“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.”. 1 Peter 5:6-11
Be advised! God’s Word never fails and it does NOT return void! As it is written-
“So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11
“Not one of the good promises which the LORD had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass.” Joshua 21:45
“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”. Philippians 1:6
You are a mighty warrior, and His beloved! He has neither left you nor forsaken you. He is closer than ever before! WE ARE IN THAT EVIL DAY mentioned in Ephesians 6:10-20! Stand your ground! For he who endures to the end shall be saved and shall inherit the crown of eternal life!
Here is what God has to say concerning your afflictions you are presently undergoing and the feeling of darkness, heaviness, emptiness and more:
The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and the Lord tests hearts. Proverbs 17:3
So that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:7
For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried.Psalm 66:10But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold. Job 23:10
More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. Romans 5:3-4
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tried you in the furnace of affliction. Isaiah 48:10
Prove me, O Lord, and try me; test my heart and my mind. Psalm 26:2
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. 1 Peter 4:12-13
For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13
And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’” Zechariah 13:9
For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried. You brought us into the net; you laid a crushing burden on our backs; you let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance. Psalms 66:10-12
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Romans 8:18
