At first glance, 1 Samuel chapter 4 appears to be ONLY about ancient Israel and their rebellion against God. Israel has been defeated by the Phillistines, the Ark of the Covenant has been stolen, Phinehas and Hophne, the two sons of Eli, have been killed and all hope seems lost.
When a messenger reaches Eli to share the news of Israel’s defeat, the death of his two sons, and the fact that the Ark of the Covenant has been stolen, Eli falls over, breaks his neck, and dies.
When the news reaches the ears of Phinehas’ pregnant wife, she goes into labor, and then she also dies! But right before she takes her last breath she says, “I want to name him Ichabod because the glory has departed from Israel,” because the ark of God was taken and because of her father-in-law and her husband. She said, “The glory has departed from Israel, for the ark of God was taken.”

I heard you say on your YouTube channel, this video, satan the god of the flesh. YOU ARE EXACTLY RIGHT!! When you look up the word God/Elohim, it’s meaning is “angels, magistrates, judges with authority, gods OF the supreme GOD, not the supreme GOD”, I was shocked. I looked up the words image, man, etc. Then learned the same word Elohim in I think Isaiah, where it says that God spit the seed, talking about making us male and female, and that’s why JESUS said there will be neither male nor female in the kingdom of GOD, because we’re were from there, but got put in this flesh body. for now, we desire a mate. Which is “a part opposite”, WOW Lyn, you’re deeper than what I even knew you were! What a beautiful soul!
