The story of the man living among the tombs is an account most all of us have heard. As Jesus gets off a boat, a naked demon possessed man living among the dead comes running up to Him; a frightening man who cuts himself! A man so strong, even shackles and chains cannot subdue him!
Jesus had been telling the demons to come out of the man. But falling to the feet of Jesus, the demons within the man frantically inquire, shouting with a loud voice, “What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God, do not torment me!”
At face value, this is the account of a crazy man filled with demons who was delivered from the demons by the power of God Almighty through His Son Jesus Christ. But what if there is more to this story? What if it’s much bigger than what we have thought?
